Friday, March 26, 2010 - Really starting to come together now, beginning to show some classic aged Bordeaux signs. Tobacco leaf, cigar, black fruit, earthy, even a little dusty with some cassis as well and cedar all encased in a lovely perfume. The palate is not quite as rich as the nose, but the tannins are there but supple and dusty, the fruit comes in first then followed by some cedar and earthiness. Nice medium length finish, but fairly one dimensional. Overall I'm still very impressed by this wine.
