Saturday, August 24, 2013 - A lovely nose of the terroir with smoke, dark red fruits and warm bricks. Fairly formidable given I often find this wine too light but this vintage has some nice heft to it with fine flavors of smoky earth, tobacco and graphite minerals. Smooth and silky with a nice finish. The tannins are somewhat green but this works and is ready now.
