Thursday, January 1, 2015 - Pretty, rich, deep medium red. Raspberry cordial on the nose with black pepper. Some dust as well. This is a pure, uncomplicated wine showcasing red fruits that is absolutely delicious - a classic happy wine. It reminds me of a very nice burgundy in how pleasant it is to drink (if not in the flavor profile). Note that it really needed the hour we gave it to breathe. Drinking perfectly and showing no sign of decline.
