Thursday, July 9, 2009 - This wine was opened and poured. It should have been decanted. Initially the aromatics shows lemon, oyster shell and stone notes. The wine begins understated and reserved. The color shows a light yellow with a tinge of green it is youthful and vibrant. The medium bodied palate initially shows excellent balance and acidity on the finish to give the wine structure. This wine improved with airing and added complexity and nuances over time. It showed its best about an hour and a half after opening. The wine will benefit from a few more years of bottle age.
