Tuesday, January 10, 2017 - Pop and pour and followed for 4 hours or so. Focused nicely after 2-3 hours. Beautiful complex nose of honey, stone fruit, chalk, wet leaves, a little baked apple, nuts, a little smoke, flowers, and some light tropical fruit on the edges. Citrus, stone fruit, spice, earth, honey, and minerals on the harmonious palate. Tart but mellowed acidity, delicious long finish, slight bitterness. Overall, this was an awesome bottle. Complex, complementary, delicious. I could not put it down.
