Friday, October 13, 2023 - Everything is in place for this 13 year old wine. Gorgeous color with a wonderful balance of softly muted fruit, acid, and resolved tannins. Stored for the past 5 years in 59-66 degree temperatures, the cork was in perfect shape with plenty of life left however now may be at its peak. Had with bone-in ribeye, sauteed cauliflower and mushrooms and mashed potatoes. With Alex and Mom.
