Sunday, December 23, 2018 - After initially coming up a bit light this put on quite a bit of weight after being open an hours or so. Plums on the nose. A bit stewed with a touch of brett. Lots of tannin still. Generous acids. Shows some warmth even though it's listed at a mere 13%. As I mentioned, picks up plenty of palate weight with air. Over night the brett takes a bigger part. Not too distracting for me but it's certainly in the room. While this is still going strong its never real complex. A very good wine if somewhat straight down the line. Enjoyed.
