Tuesday, June 19, 2012 - Interesting wine. Much more New World style than Old, with a very perfume driven nose of rose petals, dark fruits, and slight pencil shavings. Palate was very sweet with the dark fruits most prominent. Not what I expected really, and a bit too sweet for my liking. I will give this a few years to settle down a touch, and I'm hoping the sweetness dissipates a bit.
