Friday, May 1, 2015 - (labor day dinner at wern's+cheryl) Forward dark berries, espresso and mocha notes, edging on tar. Leather and plums, lined with rich velvet, soft fruit and dark cherries. Chewy leather, fine silky tannins, well resolved. Finishes w pleasant complexity, revealing dried figs, roses and violets. This has aged beautifully and paired perfect w Wern's signature bolognaise - Yum!
