Tuesday, February 19, 2013 - This has evolved nicely since my last bottle (a 375ml) almost 3 years ago. Opens with a nose of sweet fruit and looks younger than it's 12+ years. The black olive and bittersweet chocolate of it's youth has been replaced by a mature melange of black and red fruit onthe palate. There's a bit of a liqueur note on the back end, without a sense of heat. The finish is relatively short; otherwise, this would score a point or two higher. To me, this is in it's prime.
