Wednesday, March 20, 2013 - Decanted 3+ hours prior to this note. Nice is very expressive filled with dark berries, cool blue fruit, exotics baking spice, oak toast, bit of framboise with a creamy texture. Decently round in the mouth with some gritty tannins on the back end. A bit drying but still has some nice fruit and concentration. At 12 years old it seems nicely integrated and starting to show some complexity. Still needs time though to develop a bit more and integrate fully with the tannins. Long life ahead, plenty of stuffing for the long haul.
