Saturday, May 18, 2013 - Great wine; on its own or as a QPR, this is unbeatable. New world fruit bomb on the nose, with an approach thats blueberry, toasted oak, pepper and spice. Medium+ weight, mouthfeel thats youthful, yet with satiny tannins. More blue and black fruit, this wine shows a hints of a youthful complexity/depth that appear as tight layers today, and which I hope become more pronounced in the future. In any event, what a great bottle with only minimal time to come to room temp needed.
