Sunday, January 13, 2019 - Seemed high in alcohol and port-like immediately upon opening, but both these characteristics dissipated with time and could be a result of the multiple moves this particular bottle has endured.

Knotty candid, followed over two hours from bottle. 90 minutes after opening there is ripe black and blue fruit on the nose. This continues on to the pallet though the wine is a bit watery not quite as Rich/structured as I have found in earlier bottles. Again, this might be due to the multiple relocations of this bottle, However it went extraordinarily well with the mussels we enjoyed this evening.
