Tuesday, April 16, 2013 - Light straw color, with light body and crisp mouth feel.
When overly-chilled, notes of white oak and moderate acidity somewhat overpower the fruit (think grapefruit and green apple), with a relatively short, flinty finish.
Do NOT serve overly chilled -- best to let it warm up to almost cellar temperature to reveal more pear-like qualities and a little more body.
Overall, a pleasant wine to quaff, or enjoy with lighter fare, particularly shellfish.
