Sunday, May 31, 2020 - opened 6 years after my first bottle and very consistent notes. Aging well and needed about 30 min to open up. Immediately after uncorking the tannins were still harsh and somewhat bitter, but with air, there is an expansiveness that comes out. The bitterness now seems soft and appropriate - like stone fruit pits, coupled with dark cherries and vibrant acidity. Still a most excellent wine.
