Tuesday, September 15, 2015 - Really liked this. A new Chavignol producer I'll definitely have to look for - a lovely fragrance of ripe grapefruit, fresh minty and Thai basil leaf notes, and a faint chalky mineral element that gets more prominent with air. Very polished on the palate with a slightly creamy feel, and bright acidity beneath that keeps it very fresh. The ripeness of the vintage definitely shows in the fruit and texture, perhaps overwhelming the other mineral and herbal elements a bit, but this is great to follow over a few hours.
