Monday, February 13, 2017 - Pop and pour. Served with food (fried chicken nugget po boy, and an udon seafood and mushroom soup, in case you are wondering).
Deep purple color. Inviting aroma of tar, licorice and black fruits. Good acidity on the front, with menthol and floral notes, filling out with black cherries and licorice. Long and lively finish as the menthol notes continue.
While rich and robust it maintains a lively and inviting profile. Delicious.
