Monday, June 22, 2015 - A beautiful Sonoma Syrah (reminds me of Limerick Lane) with an enticing spicy aroma on the second day and a purple/red color out to the rim. Will last for another 3-4 years. A complex powerful nose of bright dark red fruit, cherries and blackberries. Soft, full mouthfeel, well integrated tannins, a tart acidity, powerful, notes of dark fruit and, at the moment, only a hint of meat and smoke. An extended, balanced finish with a touch of bitterness at the very end. Patience in the cellar will pay off.
