Edit, 4 days later: Well, I need to revise my review of this wine. We left about 3 ounces of wine in the bottle and recorked it, and put it in the fridge. I decided to try the remainder out of curiosity, expecting it to be expired, but it is superb! It tastes and smells like a fine, well-aged Ribera del Duero. 93 points now!

The lesson here, is that serious reds need long aging,or a very long decant.
