Tuesday, March 26, 2024 - First bottle I bought for cellaring. I was in my internship. I kept it in my closet and transferred it to my ‘rich’ friend's cellar a couple years later.

Cost: $35 at the time, which was affordable.

The cork is short compared to current bottles.
It leaked half the length of the cork, not to the surface.

Color is medium garnet.

Aromas were medium at open and fading to light after 1-2 hours.

In the mouth, licorice, blackberry, leather,

Tannins make my taste buds pucker tightly and there is some iron on the long finish.
