Young big and luscious but grounded in cdp roots. Lots of graphite, lush berry fruit, garrigue, fig cake, with some accents of smoke, kelp and iodine. It was nice to have this next to the 2001 and see the connection as I believe the winemaking style is still the same and will only improve with age.
