Friday, February 14, 2020 - Classic claret nose, the palate is classically clean and pure in the southern France style, nice fresh fruit and berries with underlying sour tones, dry mouthfeel, cassis, ink/blood, sooth, clean forest floor and hints of animal notes, resolved tannins and appropriate acidity to support the overall experience, clearly a good bottle, very enjoyable, must be a crime to get this good and aged claret for 24 euros but no complaints.
