At first, the nose was exactly what I was looking for--lemon, spring, and a touch of grass...but then I caught a strong scent of oak, which I wasn't expecting. The wine was more full-bodied than I expected with really nice apple notes to liven it up. While this wasn't what I was expecting, I did enjoy it. That being said, I'm not crazy about that oak finish, though this was not overwhelming, which I appreciated. Enjoyable for the price, but wouldn't be my go-to spring white.
