Sunday, May 25, 2014 - Deep red in color. Dark fruit mostly on the nose with a small amount of graphite and chicolate. Palate of plum, cherry, cocoa and a bit of earth. Nicely balanced with the fruit a bit out front but the tannins frim and the acidity adding to its depth. Nice finish and mouthfeel. Consumed with grilled ribeye, farro and vegetables. Made for a pleasant Sunday night meal. Nice QPR, great for casual drinking.
