Saturday, October 23, 2021 - I really nice surprise! Medium to dark garnet color with slight bricking at the edges. Opens with a classic, Red Corton aroma (hard to describe; but sage brush, mint and red earth minerality). Oak there, but in check. Pomegranate to bing cherry aroma and fruit flavors. Beautifully seductive and Corton minerality is persistent. Really, at it’s prime drinkability. Although not crashing down from it’s current apogee; I would not hesitate to drink now. As typical of Jadot style (warmer fermentation’s; more fruit forward); they drink sooner than later.
