Monday, May 20, 2019 - Purchased at winery, stored at 55 degrees since purchase.
Dark purple-red somewhat cloudy,good legs.
Nose of blackberries dark chocolate cigar box with faint cinnamon. Taste of dark fruit ie blackberry cobbler vanilla and a very strong alcohol finish which though not unpleasant was similar to a Central Valley Syrah.
Not surprising at 14.9% alcohol. Good mouth tightening tannins over all not dissapointing but I expect more from mountain fruit.
