Saturday, October 25, 2014 - Nose and palate contain some pinotesque funk. However, this is a rich, ripe, full bodied and mouth coating Syrah. Some acidity is present, but thankfully this wine’s firm tannins keep it in check. It’s certainly an in-your-face style with each sip to be savored. Outstanding.
