Sunday, March 14, 2010 - Half bottle. Deep yellow. Perhaps a touch of oxidation, but ultimately fresher than it seemed at first with orange blossom, apricot, and botrytis. Richer and sweeter than I had recalled, this was too much for savory courses. Good acidity is present, but it loses the precision, minerality, and cut of the regular bottling. No more than very good on this night.
