Wednesday, September 19, 2012 - Half bottle. Golden with a bit of orange. An initial burst of honey, then low pitched ripe yellow peach. Moderately sweet and quite unctuous on the entry. Interesting herbs, spice mix and ginger followed by a finish that drops off in intensity and is not completely harmonious, carrying soil and bitterness that seem out of place. I'm still having a harder time warming to this than to the other 2001 Frederic Emile bottlings.
