Sunday, December 31, 2023 - I love this champagne. It’s complex and a perfect example of this vintage. Restrained aromas of bread yeast, dried pineapple, dried apricots, candied ginger, brioche, and honey gives way to deep notes of lemon oil, poached pears, and sea shells on the palate. Marvelous energy and structure. Should be good for another 10 years at least. Tasted in both a Zalto champagne and a white wine stem, and I preferred the latter.
