Palate is medium+ bodied and with bright red fruit flavors, but missing the distinctive RM note of orange rind. Acidity is med+ and completes a wine that is superbly balanced and flat out delicious. While a bit bigger than what I usually like, this remains one of the best QPRs in California wine.
