Saturday, July 11, 2015 - At almost six years old, this one has finally lost all traces of the remaining baby fat and is starting to really shine. Great fruit structure, really good balance and still wonderful blackberry/spice/sweet oak characteristics. I continue to be amazed how a wine of 15+% alcohol can keep it all in check and show that balance is possible even when pushing the fruit intensity envelope. If this one doesn't last another 10 years, I'll give up drinking all Ringland wines for good....
