Tuesday, May 10, 2011 - Epson Imports Pre-Arrival 2007 Barolo and 2006/7 Brunellos (Liner & Elsen, Portland OR): Very fresh, with lots of up front fruit aromas; apples, sweet pears. Plenty of minerality as well. The palate shows rocks, really nice acids, and is quite crisp. Nice rocks and acids on the finish. Good minerality throughout. This could pass very well for a Champagne. Nice.
