Saturday, April 29, 2017 - From magnum. Popped and poured. I have had great luck with this Chateau. Always high quality wines and this was no different. Bright ruby red color with perfect clarity. Classic CdP flavors of spice, dark cherries, mild pepper, kirsch. Drinking well right now. My only knock would be that this is somewhat linear and doesnt offer a lot in the way of secondary and tertiary flavors. Maybe that is to come with more age. This was drinking quite youthfully.
