Sunday, January 28, 2007 - Medium/deep ruby core, pale ruby rim. Medium intense fruity nose, still quite youthful showing blackberry and bilberry fruit. Similar black fruits on the palate, quite juicy and attractive if not very concentrated, some spicy notes. An elegant, medium bodied wine with resolved tannins and medium acidity on a short/medium length finish showing just a few hints of tar. Quaffable, pleasant drinking, probably at its best over the next year or so.
