Sunday, July 9, 2006 - Mediocre champagne. Quaffable, but nothing special. A bit bitter, citrus, ginger, and coffee. For approximately the same price, I prefer Duval-Leroy's 1996 Blanc de Chardonnay ( Yellow Label ) Lots of bubbles, somewhat weak finish. Drink em if ya got 'em. Not ageworthy, but reasonable for an everyday bubbly.
