Sunday, March 23, 2008 - Drank from a magnum on my grandmother's 100th birthday. I wouldn't so much say I was disappointed, since I did read the reviews here ahead of time, but this wasn't very interesting, and was entirely dwarfed by the amazing André Clouet Champagne Brut Rosé we had before it. The Paris is very light on flavor and complexity, showing some spritzy green apple and some light minerality. This is very light and unoffensive. Some of the non-wine drinkers preferred it for that. It's a reasonable quaffer and there is absolutely nothing off-putting about it. Aside from the bottle (which is really why I bought it), there's plenty of better champagne for the price.
