Sunday, July 5, 2020 - Deep golden color. PNP, drank 2 glasses over 2 hours. This has a fun nose, very rich and full with butter brushed pie crust, lemon oil, dried apricot, honey, grilled pear, lemon zest and dried wood. The palate is somewhat honeyed also, but very oily textured, lemon oil, apricot, butter cream, dry stones, and a deep lingering finish. This has a full bodied, oily texture that is rich and energetic, good acid to carry the fruit and texture. These have a lot of complexity and depth that comes with age. Last bottle, and best bottle. I will seek this out in the future too. 91+ to 92pts.
