Friday, April 27, 2018 - Popped from a half bottle 2 hours before pouring. Subtle nose of tobacco and funk. Medium bodied with firm tannic grip, still quite youthful, showing austere oak, pencil lead, dark fruit, firm acidity and dusty tannins. Felt overall a bit harsh or green. Could certainly benefit from more years in the cellar or perhaps a longer decant.
