95 Points

Thursday, March 21, 2019 - At least 95, perhaps more. Hard to breakdown, but so good right now. Starting to enter a secondary phase but still youthful, fruity and the tannins are not harsh or bitter. My bet is peak in 2 years. But it is not a crime to drink it now. Going on the net now to find more!

3/22/2019 4:35:00 PM - Quiet Lion: I opened it around 5:00, let it sit for 45 minutes, poured 2 glasses that I also let sit for close to one hour. Had it at and after dinner. It did keep getting better. Next one I will probably decant.

3/23/2019 5:06:00 AM - Good Morning - I have a magnum sitting in my storage unit - would you suggest a 12 hour slow ox or let it sleep for another year or two. Thank you

3/23/2019 7:00:00 AM - I haven't experimented much with slow ox. If you need it for a special occasion today I'd decant it for 2.5 hours. Ideally I'd wait until people start posting notes saying it's singing. Keep in mind magnums age a bit more slowly than bottles.

3/23/2019 7:34:00 AM - I tend to agree with QL: I would wait a couple of years with a magnum. I am not sure what 12 hours open would do.
