Wednesday, February 26, 2020 - Barolo Boys - the third edition (67 Pall Mall): A single cru neighbouring Conterno's Cascina Francia. 65yo vines. Lots of other reviews noting this is excessively tannic, but they were obviously drinking the wine too young as this example was resolved and superb. Tea, truffle and soft red fruit on the nose. Very juicy and elegant on the palate, and just so drinkable already, but has the concentration to go another 20 years or so.
