Monday, January 2, 2012 - Wow! Popped and poured through Venturi. Super concentration but not so heavy it overpowered the wine. Anise, cassis, spice and vanilla. Nose a bit closed but considering it wasn't decanted not surprising. Tannins were velvety, but very present. Puckering. I'm going to wait on the other bottles to see how this one develops, that is if I can wait.
