Wednesday, October 15, 2014 - Very enjoyable and well-made wine that stood well against 3 other bottles costing multiple times as much. The nose is more Chilean than syrah with intense herbaciousness reminiscent of carmenere, sweet blackcurrant juice, chocolate, loam and hints of mint. Medium to full-bodied with velvety tannins, rich and ripe fruit and balancing acidity. Medium to long aftertaste. Ready to enjoy and went perfectly with a variety of meat dishes including difficult ones such as beef tartare. Great value at around €20.
