Wednesday, July 1, 2015 - Nose of apple, pear, a bit honeyed, some funky Chenin verve too. The palate is where this really shines as the acidity this wine once had has mellowed and rounded off while the texture is getting supple, with some appealing yeastiness, even biscuity, ample fruit sweetness, chalky, lemon mineral water. This just killed with carne asada, guajillo salsa, avo, & tons of cilantro. More advanced than all my other bottles and showing great interest for the future if this is the trajectory.
