Wednesday, December 21, 2011 - Since my friends and the MW with us suggested this was Huet, I go along. The bottle however bared only vintage (1911) and a sticker saying "negociant". This was the surprise of the evening healthy looking gold and wonderful nose of wax, honey and mushrooms (i.e. botrytis). Medium sweet, amazing concentration and sky high acidity balancing it. Supple mouthfeel. Citrus peel, apricot and botrytis notes in the mouth. Great with chestnut soup with ginger. No concessions made. Fantastic wine!
