94 Points

Tuesday, April 6, 2010 - On 1st opening a little astringent, but decanted for about 2 hours. Then it started to open up. By 3+ hours it really came into it's own. Delicious dark cherry, blueberry, and slight smoke. At first a little licorice but that turned more cedarish. Very smooth but still great body. Much more of a classic bordeaux than the typical current Parker influence over the top trend.

I remember tasting when I first bought and was in love. I've had a few bottles since that disappointed. I think it just went dumb for awhile, and perhaps is now coming into it's own.

I think points are very subjective. Today Parker rates wines in the high 90's that I simply can't enjoy. But I'd certainly put this up there in the 94+, at least. Definitely better with food. .
