Saturday, August 10, 2019 - Summer Grillin' (Los Gatos, California): Decanted for 2 hours. Ruby core with lighter outer third. Some familiar Tempier funk (or is that just Mourvèdre?) as well as green herbs on the nose. Clean on the palate though with gently sweet blueberry and black fruit, a strong acid core, some stemminess, and real minerality on the finish. Still quite firm and could benefit from at least another 5 years.
