Thursday, August 15, 2013 - Another bottle generously opened by Allred on our 26th anniversary dinner at Anvil. Interesting to taste this alongside an '87 Quilceda Creek Cab. This was the more elegant of the two, showing black fruit, tobacco and other tertiary flavors on the nose and palate. I preferred the power of the QC to the feminine elegance of the Dominus - but that is really splitting hairs at this point. Beautiful wine - thanks for sharing Allred.
