We had this side by side with the DP '96 Rose (in the same night we also had '85 Cristal and '85 Salon). Hard to describe how nice the nose is with amazing toasty, kind of sweet notes. The palate was amazingly fresh and mineral with different layers of green apple, apple. Long long finish! This is pure and creamy. Having had the '96 Oenotheque recently I must say this is superior at this point, probably due to a matter of development. The Oenotheques will get here I think possibly showing even better.
