Saturday, December 10, 2022 - Light-medium (-) ruby, translucent, 13%abv. Barnyard and perfumed nose of great pleasure. Dry, medium (+) acidity, medium super silky tannin, medium alcohol and ditto body. Savory attack supported with strawberries, red cherry, tobacco.
Utterly delicious, a lesson in elegance and strength. Fruit balances a savory palate with freshness. Very long bright, almost light-footed yet serious finish. Wine to contemplate and to contemplate with.
With venison stew: delightful.
